We all waited for that moment to come, I remember some of us were practicing for this upcoming tournament. After a few weeks of sign ups, and hours of work from organizers, The Heavenly Spirits 3rd Tournament, supervised by m216xlegendx, between October 1 and November 11, with 34 participants from allover the world. In Round 1, some of us had some tough matches, all waited to see the results. Some strong players were eliminated in this 1st Round, like caine, kardboardking and Ronin. Others quit, for personal reasons, or weren't to be found. After two weeks, Round 2 had to start, and the brackets were made. The matches were tight too, with unexpected turnouts. Wanya from Round 1, was put into Round 2, because 4 players from Round 1 abandoned the tournament. We needed 16 People for that, we had 15, it turned out good. Round 2 was held for 1 week. Maybe the most waited round of the tournament, Top 8. Monohoshizao, maybe the revelation of the tournament, who beat Nog in Round 2, beat God 2.0 (who was nominated for 2nd place). And some very tight matches between Braver and arstal. The Semi-Final, was Europe Vs Europe and USA Vs USA. The games ended fast, 3-0 for both. In Europe, Souji's Sogetsu defeated Monohoshizao's feared Charlotte and the rest of his characters. And in USA, m216xlegendx's Kazuki, maybe his best in my opinion, hardly defeated arstal, especially his Charlotte, in the same match that a desync occurred. We had some disappointment in the finals, the battle for 1st place, held on November 7, wasn't really a tight one, m216xlegendx's Mina easily defeated Souji, with the score 5-1, making him The Heavenly Spirits 3rd Tournament Winner, after loosing two times in the finals, in the precedent tournaments. The tournament supervisor and organizer won it! The battle for the 3rd place, it never been disputed. We lost track of Monohoshizao after the semi-final, he said in a post after the game "I guess I`ll just put some make-up and go to a Heloween party to get drunk...", hope your safe home Monohoshizao! So that makes arstal the bronze medalist. Replays were saved, except a few. All of them were converted by m216xlegendx into videos, and than uploaded on http://www.YouTube.com for a better viewing. Nobody made a replay pack, but here is a list of the matches, on YouTube. We even had a promotional video for the tournament, made by songpeng, who couldn't participate in the tournament, due to personal reasons, but still, he tried to help as much as he could. Here is The Heavenly Spirits 5th Tournament video. Rules and tournament thread Participants Brackets and results Tournament Poster Round 1 Poster Round 2 Poster Top 8 Poster
